Mariangela Murolo – Musteria Producer

Laurea in Teoria e Tecniche della Comunicazione Pubblicitaria conseguita presso la Facoltà di “Scienze della Comunicazione” dell’Università “La Sapienza” di Roma, Diploma in Recitazione Teatrale e Cinematografica conseguito presso la Clesis Arte Roma e Diploma in Regia Cinematografica e Sceneggiatura conseguito presso la Scuola di Cinema di Roma. Nel 2008, a New York, approfondisce la tecnica di recitazione cinematografica con il Metodo Strasbeg, al Susan Batson Studio (ex Black Nexxus), con Susan Batson e Stuart Burney. Il “Metodo” era stato precedentemente esplorato in Italia anche con Giorgina Cantalini e Michael Margotta.

Negli anni recita in diverse produzioni teatrali e interpreta piccoli ruoli per film e tv. Nel frattempo fa esperienza sul set anche come assistente di produzione, aiuto sceneggiatore, aiuto regia, organizzazione di produzione, art director, operatore/video editor, sceneggiatrice.

Nel 2009 viene scelta da Giovanni Veronesi come sceneggiatrice, con il compito di stendere le note di alcuni suoi lavori cinematografici in pre-produzione, tra cui Manuale d’Amore 3 con Robert De Niro, e scrivere un soggetto cinematografico. In questo periodo frequenta anche un corso finanziato dalla Regione Lazio in “Produzione Audiovisiva”, presso l’Istituto Lambda.

Nel 2012 vende la sua prima Sceneggiatura cinematografica, commissione che la porta a lavorare per due mesi tra Roma e Miami.

Nel 2014 realizza il suo primo cortometraggio come Autrice e fonda la Musteria Production: una factory indipendente che mira alla realizzazione di film, documentari e sceneggiature.

Graduated in Theory and Techniques of Advertising Communication at the Faculty of “Communication Sciences”, University “La Sapienza” of Rome. Graduated in Acting, at the Clesis Arte of Rome, and in Movie Direction and Screenwriting– Movie School of Rome. In 2008 she was in New York City, to study acting with the Strasberg Method at Susan Batson Studio (ex Black Nexxus), with Susan Batson and Stuart Burney. This Method was already explored in Italy with Giorgina Cantalini and Michael Margotta.

Over the years she starred in several theater productions, film and television. Meanwhile she had experiences on set as a production assistant, help writer, assistant director, production organization, art director, operator / video editor, scriptwriter.

In 2009 she was chosen by Giovanni Veronesi as a writer, with the task of drawing the notes of some of his film in pre-production, included Manual of Love 3 with Robert De Niro, and writing a film script. During this period, she also attended a course in “Audiovisual Production”, funded by the Lazio Region, at the Lambda Institute.

In 2012 she sold her first film screenplay, working for two months between Rome and Miami Beach.

In 2014 she made her first short film and founded the Musteria Production: an independent Factory which aims at the realization of films, documentaries and screenplays.
